CHC sends: Albert Almora, OF, CHC 6th rd AMAT Draft pick
CLE sends: Yu-Cheng Chang, SS, CLE Akil Badoo, OF, MIN 3rd rd MILFA 5th rd MILFA
I had advertised an excess of outfielders and don't feel all that great about Almora's potential to be an average offensive contributor. Chang and Badoo have received a small amount of buzz in prospect lists so we'll see what happens

Trade Confirmed. I believe Almora is a good candidate for a breakout year. Plus he is cheap and I needed outfield help

+20 Cubs
Almora's reputation has always been a glove-first centerfielder that shouldn't hurt you near the bottom of the order (in a stacked Cubs lineup). That's kind of how I see Almora's fantasy relevance - 500+ ABs, .280ish+ AVG, teens in HRs, 150 R+RBI (as long as he's a Cub). That not bad at all - but that's not a "good" fantasy outfielder, but certainly a rosterable one.
Baddoo alone has a ton more upside with almost as similar floor - I think - as Almora. Chang, while he doesn't thrill me much, is still a valuable fantasy commodity - the kid's got some power from a middle infield spot. I'm not sure Chang becomes a regular but if he does, there's a good chance he'll provide better-than-average production as a middle infielder.
I've always believed this MiLBFA draft was fairly deep, so getting a 3rd and 5th for a 6th AMAT seems close to a wash, in my eyes - but a little edge for the MiLBFA picks with the way it's playing out so far.
Baddoo for Almora straight up, I'd give Cubs a +5, not more because Almora can help now while Baddoo doesn't. Add in the extra spec and decent picks, and I feel like this is a case of the sum being greater than the parts. Really nice return for Cubs.

Yeah I’d say +15 Cubs, that’s a lot for basically Almora who’s not that proven himself.

+5 Cubs, not too long ago Almora was a bright shiny prospect. Hard to believe he is only 23. The problem I have with him is the amount of talent the Cubs have and it will limit playing time. If he were guaranteed PT I favor CLE. The prospectd are good, with the picks its better. Good trade, we'll see how it works out!

Amended in order to help with Cleveland's unintended salary crunch (spreadsheet error):
CHC also sends Phil Ervin Salary obligation: cover both Almora's and Ervin's 2018 salaries ($1.2 million)
CLE sends: Jose Miranda, 2B, MIN
