Dodgers trade:
SP Brent Honeywell $600,000 20xx P Quinn Priester 2B Ezequiel Duran OF Jasson Dominguez
Tigers trade:
SP Brandon Woodruff $4,634,573 2023 ($4,634,573 retained for 2022) RP Anthony Bender $600,000 2022 ($600,000 retained for 2022)
I’m giving up a group of great prospects here, but I didn’t want to end up one pitcher short again like I did last year. Hopefully Woodruffs arm doesn’t fall off, because I’m pretty sure I just traded one or two fantasy stars for him. On the bright side, a rotation of Burnes, Buehler, Woodruff with Darvish as a #4 is going to be tough week in and week out for the next two years.
Thanks for working on this one with me. There’s a good chance this works out good for both of us.

First off, Jon is great to work with, it's nice to share a mutual respect with someone. Generates trust.
Tough to see woodruff go, the first trade I made in this league was Samardzija for Him, Freddy Peralta, and Luis Ortiz (who was supposed to be the cornerstone of that deal).
Priester reminds me of Woodruff. and Dominguez is the definition of boom or bust. Duran has been a lesson in undervaluing guys since I traded him to Jon. And Honeywell.....idk.... is like a dogeared lottery ticket that you can barely read the numbers on.
Jon's rotation is filthy now, But with the way free agency went, I can't really dream of contention this year and reasonably, the next. On top of that, I have been fortunate with my selection of pitching prospects.
If all goes to plan, 3 years from now, I'll have some big impact young players and Jon will have a few banners and titles to look at.
