CIN Trades
Edwin Diaz $11,600,000 2026-27P Jake Burger $1,288,000 2027 SD Trades Deyvison De Los Santos Brock Porter Blade Tidwell Cade Povich Milfa pick 1.5 Milfa pick 2.5
This is a significant deal. Diaz is a top closer, albeit with injury and performance risk (like all relievers), on a reasonable salary. Burger broke out last year, looking like a solid power guy early on and then looking like an across the board hitting asset in September, and is on a low salary long term deal. The upsides and contracts of both of these guys justify a big offer going the other way.
De Los Santos could end up being very similar to Burger very soon, or Cleveland could keep him on their bench all year and stunt his growth. I have him in another league so I hope the latter doesn't happen. Porter could be a big riser this year and the picks will give Brandon the chance to add high upside to his rebuild as well
Thanks for trade Brandon

Cincinnati agrees.
This team is in rough shape and I have very few assets to work with (that don’t cost an arm and a leg). I can’t guarantee that Diaz and Burger will be around when this rebuild is complete, so I need to look to the future. All prospects coming back have, in my opinion, high floors. Porter is arguably a top-100 guy. De Los Santos has high K rates, but he’s only 20 and has shown nice raw power. I think he has a nice future either in Cleveland or back in Arizona. Povich and Tidwell are mid-rotation pitchers that could be more. The draft picks will allow me to continue to address the almost barren farm system.
I feel good about my first deal in the the league and thanks to Sean for working through a few minor issues but coming in strong to start.

+10 Cincinnati, I really like povich actually and I drafted porter originally also. The picks throw this a good bit over the top for Cincy imo. Good get!

I like the Reds side too, but it’s close. Interesting that it’s the 2nd year in a row Diaz has been traded for prospects and picks.
