Phillies send: - Logan Morrison, $4MM, 2019
Orioles send:
- 2.24 in upcoming MiLBFA draft
Phillies reasoning: - Shipping LoMo opens up another roster spot for upcoming promotions while dealing from one of my many 1B options
- Still looking to acquire MiLBFA draft picks, obviously a top-50 pick fits the bill

Confirmed.
Morrison busted out in 2017. The contract is reasonable if he can come close with similar production. Good luck to the Phils!

Depends on which Morrison shows up, if he turns back into a pumpkin going forward advantage Phillies. If last year or something close to it was his new norm, big advantage Orioles. Given his salary isn't prohibitive either way (neither was the trade cost) I'll give Orioles a +5, not higher cause I'm still skeptical Morrison has another big year.

+5 for the Orioles in my mind to. I'd still prefer my Zimmerman deal, but not by much. Morrison's season seems like more of an outlier but he is younger and has an additional year of control vs. Zimmerman, and all acquired for a lesser return in a 2.24 pick vs a prospect who probably makes a few top 100 lists.
Trade processed on spreadsheets and Fantrax, and MiLFA pick noted in traded pick registry

+15 Orioles. I think a late second round minors pick is a cheap price to pay for a solid 1B on a good contract for a couple of years
