CHC sends Christian Arroyo, 3B, TB
WAS sends Eric Fedde, SP, WAS 4th rd AMAT 5th rd MILFA
I think this is an upgrade in terms of overall impact at the MLB level for my team, and replaces the rotation depth I lost by dealing Newcomb with a higher floor and probably lower upside pitcher in Fedde. Arroyo can hit for sure, but I don't think I'd ever be stoked to see him starting at 3B for me (not considering that it would mean Bryant is hurt for that to happen!)
In a roundabout way I managed to trade Rogelio Armenteros for Eric Fedde, which I think is most likely a win for me.

Similar to Curtis, I have 3rd locked down with Rendon. However he is not what I would consider injury resistant. I’m trading from some pitching depth for a CI that has a chance at everyday at bats and likely a plus to avg. Giving up the picks hurts but, as Curtis knows, I’m an Arroyo fan.

Not really in love with either guy, Fedde probably has more upside but more risk plus Arroyo's likely to play this year while not sure Fedde will pitch much for the Nats. I'd say +5 for the Cubs just for getting the throw-in picks (particularly a top 100 Amateur pick).

Even, I don't see either person in this deal really missing who they traded, positional needs if anything.
