The MiLFA draft is fast approaching! To make everyone's lives a little easier, I consolidated all the minor league players into one list so you don't have to flip between each team's roster spreadsheet trying to see if a player is already owned. Basically, before you make a pick, make sure the player you're picking isn't on the list. This list is wayyy longer than the Rule 5 Eligible list, so I'm not going to put the full list in a message. Instead, here's a link to the list: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SCGIU2nc-Hg0ecLcCTiK76-A2Zex8D9vY_SxPNipvbk/edit#gid=764960690It's in a tab in our league spreadsheet, so if the link doesn't work for you, there are other ways to get to it. I'm also going to include an attachment on this post with a file for people who can't use Google Sheets. I'm also going to include the link at the beginning of each round, but I'm posting this a little early so people can start to plan ahead if they want to. Let me know if I missed someone or if the link/attachment don't work. *Edit made to update attachment due to comments below (1/13) Here's the attachment: Minor Leaguers.csv (25.66 KB)

Thanks for that Alex.
Before teams make picks it would probably be a good idea to do a search on the spreadsheet with "all sheets" checked. Reasoning is that some prospects (particularly AA & AAA players) can be on the MLB roster for a team rather than the minors due to Rule 5 protections made by the team. a la Justin Williams, OF (AA).

I just did Fantrax searches when trying to do a draft board but it’s always good to have another double check mode.

I didn't even know about the "all sheets" option haha, that's probably the best thing to use if you have access to Google Sheets, to be honest. I ran an R script that collected all the players in the minor leagues along with players on the 40 man roster/paid minors who had "Y" in their Arbitration column. I see now that Justin Williams has "Pre-Arb" there, so that's why he's missing. I'll add those guys and post another attachment for people who have trouble with Google Sheets. ...edited my original post here and added a new attachment

Sort of related question, were you able to run the script directly on the Google sheet or did you have to export it first to a csv file?

Yeah this is what I've been doing as well. Also, just double check those that are hard to spell. I've been going and replacing misspelled names that I found during research but I've probably missed some, but it's to the point that I search multiple ways to find a guy to just be sure. Use first half of name, first name plus part of the last name, alternate spellings, etc. I don't know how many times I've been like... OH CRAP...then get a little bummed when I find out it was just spelling related.

Also do not forget players who use shortened versions of their name. I thought Jo Adell and Josh Lowe were unowned up until recently (in the sheet as Jordan and Joshua respectively).
