Phillies send: - Brandon Finnegan, $7.5MM, 2021
Giants send:
- Michael Hermosillo, $600K, 20xx
- Steven Duggar
- 4th AMAT
Phillies reasoning: - I'm in need of quality outfielders at all levels and Duggar fits the bill and plays for a team that could find themselves in another retool year with MadBum again missing time, hopefully pushing his way up by the second half to play everyday after trading Cutch to a contender
- While I'm probably a bit higher on Finnegan than most (hence why I traded for him earlier), I have since acquired more quality starters and decided that I could afford to lose Finnegan IF I get back a quality outfield prospect and a decent pick - plus, it does give me a little more cap space for in-season needs
- Hermosillo is attached due to Giants' need to clear some 40-man space - figured it wasn't enough to kill this deal

Giants accept.
I need someone to fill in with MadBum out, and I am confident Finnegan can do that, in addition he has a great upside and I'm not too mad at losing one prospect over SP security.

+10 Phills
So Phi sheds the a long term over inflated contract of a mediocre player (yes I'm a homer and yes I'm lower on him and his upside then both non homers I guess) and gets a mid round pick and a potential contributor this year? Not seeing the downside for the Phils. Not terribly imbalanced because of the market for pitchers and the necessity for the Giants.
Anyway processed in fantrax and on Spreadsheet.
