DET Trades: Dominic Leone (DET Retains all 600K for 2018) DET 7.5 2018 AMAT Pick CLE Trades: CLE 2.13 2018 AMAT Pick Reasoning: First let me thank Cody, He was always reasonable with his negotiations from the beginning wich greatly contributed to getting a deal done. I have some players I'm zeroing in on that will probably go in the 2nd Rd of the draft so I am trying to accumulate the picks to get as many as possible. I really like Leone, that's why I signed him last season, unfortunatly I guess I wasn't feeling bold enough to sign him into what I hope is my competitive window, So he was expendable. Clevland got themselves a great reliever. My 7.5 pick is getting passed around alot so I hope whoever gets picked with it feels special

Accepted. Thanks to Matt for making this deal easy. Giving up a 2nd rounder for a reliever wasn't ideal but with a couple guys getting sent down I needed pitching depth badly. Also I'm counting pennies at this point so getting his salary covered helps. Not huge on gambling on relievers but I feel you gotta risk it to get the biscuit. Hopefully he will be a good source of saves or holds

+5 DET
I really like Leone, which is why this only a +5, I'm not a believer in trading higher end picks for relievers, but there's some upside with Leone with some save potential this year in a muddy bullpen situation he's the best pitcher and will actually have the job breaking camp this year because of Gregerson's injury.

+15 Tigers
I definitely understand need driving this deal - and for that, Cody is clearly happy with the idea of "losing" a trade - props for that. I'm of the belief that "losing" a trade is fine as long as one gets what is needed.
But on paper, a 2nd round AMAT pick for a limited-experience and suspect-results reliever who has several other high-powered bullpen arms breathing down his neck for late-inning duties, is a big gamble.

Can someone process this today for me please? Just trying to get Leone in my lineup before tomorrow. The Constitution states: All trades are subject to a 48 hour minimum holding period to allow for GM comment and Co-Commissioner review. Trades will be processed prior to the Monday roster lock deadline of the scoring period if they have stood for this 48 hour period, otherwise they will process for the following scoring period. A trade must be posted and confirmed by both owners prior to any trade deadlines outlined in section 6.5.1 or 6.5.2; although the waiting period can extend past the deadline. I will process the transaction now since the trade made 3/27 at 10:21 AM PST will allow all players to change teams at 3/29 10:21 AM, prior to the start of all games
