DET Trades: Brad Boxberger (DET cover 3M of his salary for 2018) Chris Straton
SD Trades Josh Naylor Junior Fernandez Jorge Ona Jacob Nix
Reasoning: It was great dealing with Sean, Always reasonable which was productive. I'm not crazy about boxberger, and he isn't signed through my competitive window. He is still a good RP non the less. Now I am definitely crazy about straton, and greatly regret not signing him for longer last year. But again, won't be around for when I hope to compete. I like my return, I am extreamly excited about naylor (fellow contryman) and think he will make a power 1B one day. I also like the rest of my haul as well, Nix has promising stuff, Ona is a bit like naylor and junior will cost me a roster spot next year but should at least be a good RP one day if not a competitive SP. I'm curious what others think of this one.

Well it only took a year but with this move I will finally have a full 40 man roster. Boxberger fills an open slot in my bullpen and Stratton is exactly the type of SP depth I've been looking for. The prospects I'm giving up, IMO, aren't premium guys that will be big time needle movers so I'm ok with cashing in on their potential value for a couple guys that will produce now. I think this a good timing trade for both involved.

Because this trade occurred in the midst of scoring period 1, the trade will be active in Fantrax for scoring lineup purposes effective scoring period 2 starting 4/9. The trade is still processed and scoring period 2 lineups can be adjusted in advance effective immediately. All scoring period 1 consequences arising from the accidentally early Fantrax transaction have been reversed.
