6-2-18 MIN traded SP Kyle Gibson, MIn to CHC for 2B/OF Jose Pirela, SD + prospect OF Jacob Pearson, Min. Pirela to MLB roster & Pearson to MiLB roster.



6-3-18 MIN places RP AJ Ramos, NYM on revocable waivers + promotes SS JT Riddle (Mia), OF Jarod Dyson (Ari) & SP Jason Hammel (KC) from paid minors to 40 man roster.

6-8-18 MIN signs SP Dereck Rodriguez, SFG ($1,100,000 2022-23M)

So, Caleb Smith (although out for the season) has not been put on his MLB team's 60-day DL (according to Fantrax), because of this he cannot be placed on your DL "These moves should mirror the transfer of the player due to real-life transactions, though if a player is placed on the MLB DL, it is the JBL GM’s own decision to put them on the DL as well.

Therefor Smith can't be transfered to the DL

And Anthony Banda has not been placed on an MLB DL at all, (according to fantrax) I assume this is because he is not on his teams 40 Man roster. Now in my interpretation of the rules this should also mean that he can't be transfered to the DL. But since that situation is a little different (and therefor see an opertunity to have the constitution weigh in on such a scenario) I will ask curtis to weigh in on this.
