to Blue Jays for
CC Sabathia, LHP Yankees, $600,000 2018-19
Blue Jays 2019 6th Round AMAT pick
I need that reliable starter for the playoffs that isn’t going to hurt my ratio advantage that Sale helps to provide. I also have control of Sabathia for 2019 as well. 6th round pick next year just helps balance out the trade. Walls is a nice player who has a good chance to make the show and I hate to lose him but need to fortify for the playoffs.
