Going into the last week of the regular season we have some tight playoff races!
AL Wild Card Up for grabs between the Tigers and White Sox, who have a final matchup this week! The White Sox must win at least 6.5 out of 12 points in order to win the standings tiebreaker with a 2-1 record against the Tigers this year to go through to play the Red Sox in the Divisional Series next week.
NL Central My Cubs have a 3.5 game lead over the Pirates, but anything can happen in a one-week matchup! If the Cubs and Pirates do end up tied in the standings the tiebreaker will go to the Cubs as they beat the Pirates in weeks 3 and 12 already.
NL Wild Card The Nationals, Pirates, and Cubs are all within 3.5 points of the final playoff slot - one team will be going home disappointed. The Nationals have a very difficult matchup against the NL-leading Braves for the final week so it will be no easy feat to keep up the pace with the two clubs from the Central.
Good luck to all - remember to set your lineups!

Ugh - I have to play next week? I thought I'd have a bye so my pitching could get healthy. Crap...

Nope we roll right into the divisional matchup with no bye weeks. The world series matchup then becomes a 2 week scoring period

Weekend update:
AL Wild Card The White Sox have a solid advantage over the Tigers thanks to clutch starts from Jake Junis, Reynoldo Lopez and Carlos Rodon earlier this week. That said both teams' offenses are producing on comparable levels, so a swing in bullpen categories in the Tigers' favor might be enough to save their playoff chances!
NL Playoff Race I don't want to jinx it, but my Cubs have a sizeable lead at the moment over the rival Pirates. Surprisingly the Nationals have put a serious hurting on the Braves to this point, and if the current scores hold will secure the NL Wild Card and show down against the Cubs in the NLDS!

I have realized that most of my hitters are weekend performers for some reason, so I'm comfortable were I am

This might be the best day for me in a long time fantasy wise. Junis , Urena, and Lopez all go 7, while only giving up 1 or fewer earned. Story hits two bombs. Man, good start for me lol. It's not how you start though!

Oh my god...It was so close. I thought my season was done when Atl-Arz was 0-0 in the 5th inning and Colorado was leading 7-4-1.
Congrats to everyone who made it to the playoff!

Agree with Jason - no slouches in this post season but deserving WS contenders in the end!
I'm working on offseason matters already and salary cap raises will be as follows (section 5.2 of the Constitution) $1,000,000 raise: BOS, COL, SEA, CHC $2,000,000 raise: WAS, CHW $3,000,000 raise: ATL $5,000,000 raise: CLE
