Swapping some surplus mlb depth for a later round pick who has flashed some upside

Agree to deal, need outfield depth and Martini is and OBP beast if he gets ABs, I like Graffinino but its a position of strength in my system. After years of back and forth Curtis and I have finally made our first deal. Cheers

+2 SEA. I'm not the biggest fan of either ayer, but Seattle gets MLB depth and to me is value. Martini had a .379 BABIP and still only hit.297. He walks alot and will hopefully be a .340-.350 OBP. Maybe grt a .700 OPS. Not bad...

I'm amazed that this is our first trade with the amount of trade discussion we've had to this point. Martini is definitely an OBP machine, that was what got me interested in him in the first place. I don't know anything about his defense but saw the power taper off down the stretch, meanwhile Laureano really stepped up. I'm betting on Martini not getting many ABs, but you never know
