I accept:
Bit of a reverse move but I wanted to get a cheap pitcher for the upcoming season, and Disco has the added benefit of being on a somewhat team friendly contract in the event of a bounce back which made him an appealing buy low option. As a Reds fan I've spent a lot of time diving into Disco and his problems last year, the massive jumps in home runs while his GB/FB stayed the same is rather alarming which should indicate a decline in stuff, however there was no velocity drop. There's a chance it could have been rust and I'm rooting for Disco and hope he can return to a 2ish WAR pitcher with a full season.
I like Dermis and his power is absurd, whiff rate is high but he does walk enough to offset those concerns a little. I was hoping after his standout 2017 that he'd get the move up to High A and maybe eventually AA, but he stayed in A ball and had a less impressive year with under an 800 OPS. He's still only 20 and was young for the level but with the recent shopping spree I'm starting to feel the crunch in my minors and felt I could move him.
