Cleveland recieves:
Jonathon Schoop $11,600,000 2021
Baltimore recieves:
Justin Bour $7,200,000 2019 Dawel Lugo $1,000,000 2022 Brett Martin $600,000 20xx
Cleveland confirms. I needed a solid starting MI. Im not huge on Schoop but he had a very unlucky year last year. I'm almost certain of some sort of a bounce back. Hopefully I can get 20 homers and 70ish rbis and runs.
Bour is a great OPS guy and might take over for pujols this year. But he's on a 1 year contract and doesn't have a starting job yet. Lugo and Martin are both guys who can be very valuable. Lugo might turn into schoop. Honestly I think he profiles as Schoop. Martin is a lefty who will at least find a role in the pen. If they pop I will definitely have overpayed. But I need the help now so I'm ok with it.
Nice dealing Jazz good luck with those guys I hope they work out

Baltimore accepts this deal Never been big on schoop I understand he's good but not part of my plans... Cut salary wished I would have signed Lugo in free agency but didn't know how really... And Martin is a nice little piece on the add on... I'm excited for next off-season already

+3 CLE for the knowledge that Schoop can basically be trusted for 25 HR and 500+ ABs. Not so sure that Bour, Lugo or Martin see enough equivalent playing time to balance it out in 2019, but like the long-term salary shedding for the Orioles.
