This started out as me kicking the tires on Littell, as I figured he might be a decent middle reliever or even get some starts this season. If not, he's a great non-tender candidate. Rodriguez and Thomas are both 40 FV per Fangraphs with offensive upside, and Thomas has shown the skills already though he is probably more defensively limited. Avelino is probably a utility ceiling but close enough to find out this season or next, so I figured he was worth adding to the deal in return for the younger guys I dealt.
