Robinson Chirinos C 1,000,000 2019

Chris Taylor SS 600,000 2019

Reasoning: I was looking for a MI upgrade and Taylor is a player that can help me. Since both players are cheap and signed only for this year it was a perfect match for both of us.

Yeah pretty straight forward swap here, and one I needed to make after missing out on my free agent targets to replace Yadi. Both players strike out a lot, but smack the hell out of the ball when they do make contact, and they're both cheap and on short term contracts. In a vacuum I'd say Taylor is a bit better, but Chirinos is a catcher, and now on a really good team. If Chirinos is good enough for Luhnow, he's good enough for me.
