-Yan Gomes, 2020-21T, $2,750,000
Since I traded Grandal before free agency, I was left without a catcher that would get consistent plate appearances. All the free agent catchers I was interested in were considerably more expensive than I was expecting. Gomes fills this void for me and I like that his contract is affordable. My team is deepest in the bullpen so this trade was a good fit for me. Soria should be a good source of holds in Oakland which is what Cody was looking for.
