Dodgers trade
Domingo Santana, OF, $11,000,000, 2019
for
Logan Allen, P 2019 Amat Pick 5.10
Dodgers Reasoning:
Santana has an expiring contract, and since I think I'm at least one year away from fully competing in this league, I decided it was best to sell while his value could bring back useful pieces. I had a couple of good offers, but decided on this one since Allen is a top 100 prospect, close to MLB, that hopefully will help soon. The loss in my OF is somewhat mitigated by Verdugo hitting well and also Ohtani coming back as a DH next month. Good luck to Toronto. I hope he provides the help you are looking for this year.

Toronto Agrees. Trout needs offensive help and Domingo provides him with help for this year while I wait for a few other players to show up from my farm. I am not that high on Allen and I feel like he was expendable given my team context. Thanks to Jon for being flexible and patient with me while we negotiated.

+10 TOR, although only because they have the salary space to make the deal. Nice deal by both parties though. Processed - AMAT draft registry updated and verified LAD complies with 60 man minors limit due to recent Yency Almonte promotion

+10 LAD Bummed I couldnt get a deal done for Santana. I wasnt willing to give up the controllable starter for Santana, which Toronto did. Give LAD the edge because Allen is a solid piece for less then a year of Domingo, even with his hot start
