The Draft
The draft will consist of 10 rounds beginning Monday 7/15 at 0800 EST. Each team will have 6 hours to make a selection, with the clock stopping between 0200 and 0600 EST, effectively making the overnight pick a 10 hour clock rather than 6 hour. The pick clock may be sped up in later rounds as picks become less consequential in order to expedite the draft.
If a team fails to make a selection prior to the clock expiring, then the next team will be eligible to pick. A team that misses its pick in a round will be allowed to make the pick at any time until the end of the round or 48 hours following the clock expiring on the pick, whichever allows the longest amount of time, at which time the Commissioner will assign the next available player with the highest real-life draft pick.
It is mandatory to email the next team up using the contact list on the league spreadsheet in order to make sure no team gets their pick skipped. Please include confirmation that you have emailed the next team up in your post, e.g. "With the first pick LA Dodgers select Casey Mize. Atlanta emailed and on the clock"
Email addresses are listed on the Contact tab of the league spreadsheet:

Franchise Fill
After the JBL AMAT Draft is completed, GMs will have the option of adding any available player drafted and signed by their respective MLB home team organization during the recent MLB Amateur Draft (e.g. only from the current-season draft) and not picked in the Juiced Ball League AMAT Draft to their minor league system. This is similar to the initial “Franchise Fill” period, except that players eligible are only those drafted in the most recent real-life Amateur Draft/
60-man Minor League Roster Constraint
After the conclusion of the AMAT Draft, Teams will have one week to make the appropriate space on their 60-man minor league roster for the drafted players and any undrafted players from its MLB home team organization. Even if a team drafts a player, they do not necessarily need to add them to their minor league roster. If they are not added after the deadline then they are placed on minor league waivers.
