NYY send pick 2.? In the 2020 amateur draft along with it's 2019 5.9 pick and 2020 3.8 aquired from Baltimore in the Milfa.
Milwaukee sends it's 3.3 2019 amateur and 7.7 2019 amateur.
New York accepts this trade. I wanted to get back up in to round 3 early in hopes a guy or two might still be there. Losing next year's second is fine with me for what I think I can grab in the draft at that pick! Quick and easy deal with the Brewer's!

Here's the deal as I see it:

NYY 2020 AMAT 2nd round
NYY 2020 MiLFA 3rd round from Baltimore
NYY 2019 AMAT 5th round (5.9?)
for
MIL 2019 AMAT 3.3 from Tampa Bay
MIL 2019 AMAT 7.7

This one is all about future value for me. Turning this year's AMAT 3.3 into a 2nd round AMAT next year and 3rd round MilFA pick while trading up from the 7th round to the 5th seems to be a good move. I acquired 3.3 in the Seth Lugo trade with TB. Hopefully giving Lugo up for Mychal Givens and these picks will be the gift that keeps on giving.
