Dodgers trade
Joc Pederson, OF, $15,800,000, 2021 Julio Teheran, SP, $8,000,000, 2020 Chris Devenski, RP, $5,300,000, 2021-22P
Yankees Trade
David Dahl, OF, $18,000,000, 2021-22P Aroldis Chapman, RP, $21,200,000, 2021 Ryan Weathers, P 2020 4th Round Amat pick
I hate giving up Joc and I’m not too high on Weathers, but other than that this trade helps me now with a sorely needed closer and I think I may break even in the OF with a little health luck for Dahl. I’m taking on quite a bit of salary, now and in the future, but it was going to get spent on a reliever anyway and I like having the short two year contract vs a longer one in free agency. Not sure how this will work out for either of us, but I figured it was worth the money gamble now instead of waiting for the coming bidding wars.

I accept, this was super easy for me. I inherited Dahl and was high on him but I like Joc more and his contract is better. Aroldis was a move to free up some cap and who knows maybe Tehran lights up in LA for o e year. All-in-all I like the contracts of what I got vs. what I gave up. Brothers really good high in prospect but in order to make a deal for jocks I had to give him up and I knew it and that's okay I didn't draft him I'm on the fence with him anyway. I know this will be a + 40 dodgers rating so feel free to stash away the trade for me it's what I wanted but the players I wanted and freed up the cap space I wanted. Thank Dodger's for working this deal over the last 2 days!
