Rays deal: MiLB SP Riley O'Brien Jays deal: RP Ryan Tepera $1,500,000 2021-22T
Rationale: Frank proposed the deal since I needed relievers and it seems like a fair tradeoff...an alright prospect for a guy that was a decent reliever for the Jays from 2016-18 before injuries hurt him last year, but if he bounces back he could be cheap 2-3 year depth in my pen. O'Brien made nice improvements last year and was a well-targeted ask, but he'll be 25 starting at AA next year with some question marks (slight control issues, developing a third pitch to remain a starter) and I feel like I can replace him in my franchise fill long-term - O'Brien was initially a franchise fill guy himself - since the real-life Rays do churn out and develop pitchers pretty well.

Toronto accepts. Hasán made this the easiest trade I have ever been a part of. I made a suggestion, ran to a meeting and commuted home, and when I logged back on, it was done. Awesome!
Tepera is older and I was banking on a bounce back. I think he might still have one and i may regret trading him away with the state of my bullpen, but I get a upper minors pitcher I am high on and clear up a major league roster spot.
