Agreed. I figure I'm buying pretty low in terms of dynasty value after Keller's horrible and unlucky first year, and the bulk of my rotation should be very cost-controlled after this move. I'll probably have plenty of weeks where I miss Workman, but hopefully I'm able to scrape something together to improve my bullpen via free agency. Olivares is getting some buzz about making the Padres active roster and has a nice speed and modest power combo, so he could have a chance to help me out soon too.

+10 White Sox this year +20 Cubs by the time all the contracts are over
I'd rather have Houser and Workman over Keller this year, but Houser's contract is up at the end of this year and Workman's is up after next year assuming his option is exercised. The Cubs can keep Keller until 2025 and if he figures it out at some point in that time, I think the Cubs will be the clear winners of this trade. I like Keller's stuff and I have him in another league, so I may have a more optimistic view on him. The prospects involved are a bit of a wash to me. I lean towards Olivares over Betts but who knows who'll be available at 4.24.

I'm a big Olivares guy, but Keller has a lot of value for the control and the upside.
I respect Lukes hustle to compete though.
Just for the overall future value +25 CHC

A grade on this deal probably depends on what you think of Keller. White Sox could be selling low or he could be like (sigh) Nick Pivetta who has strikeout stuff up the wazoo but gets tatooed when he isn't striking people out. It's doubly hard to grade a rookie pitcher on last year with the juiced ball though. White Sox definitely got usable pieces back in the deal at least.
