Cleveland sends Jose Ramirez $12,900,000 2021 Dylan Bundy $8,000,000 2021 Corey Knebel $3,530,000 2021-22 Player 2020 3rd round MiLFA Toronto sends Mark Vientos Bryson Stott Lane Thomas $600,000 20XX 2021 Amat picks 1,2,3,4, and 5 JA Happ $12,200,000 2020 Drew Hutchinson $3,100,000 2020 Juan Nicasio $2,700,000 2020 Lucas Duda $2,200,000 2020 Accepted. Vientos and Stott are borderline top 100 guys who I really like. I think thomas could eventual carve out an everyday role and be productive. Also added 5 more picks including another 1st rounder. The 2020 contracts im taking on really mean nothing as I have the cap space and they will be gone at the end of the season. Moving guys like Ramirez is tough but doing it now im going to get the most value. I added 8 shots at young guys that I like. Frank it was nice working with you. Hopefully these guys help you out. Thankfully in 2 or 3 years when I'm trying to compete Ramirez and Bundy's contracts will expire lol

Big, big trade. Probably something I should have been doing sooner. Toronto Accepts.
Trout needs help so I have finally decided to capitalize on my farm depth and upgrade my MLB roster. As valuable as Amateur picks can be, I don't care for them so I am happy to trade those away. Vientos is a solid prospect and has performed well for a teenager, but is far away. Stott is a 1st round pick and will be solid in a 1-3 years, but his stock is high, I have a lot of MI depth on my MLB squad and in my farm that I like so he was expendable. Thomas is probably the player I will miss the most of the three. I have great OF depth, but he's someone I think who could develop into a regular for the cardinals. The rest is just for roster balance and salary.
Ramirez fills my 3B problem for next year and he is elite. Bundy helps my SP out tremendously and I am buying into his Angels stint. I only wish I had them both for more than this year and next, but it will have to do. Knebel is more a throw in with bounce back potential and getting any MiLB pick is great in my book. Did I overpay? Possibly. Did I underpay? Also possible. Did I help weaken a division rival for the next 2 years? 100%
Cody was very patient with me and very flexible, I appreciate that! I was in on the Gleyber deal, but that not working out for me helped this deal work out. Hopefully your picks and players develop well! Glad you were okay providing for a division rival in the short term.
Edit: Regardless of what everyone thinks of this trade (which I am very curious to see), I think Cody's done a great job of going all in on the asset acquisition with his recent trades.

+5 Toronto For me I like this, Cody is all in on breakdown, rebuild, and doing it right,Selling high on the current market. I do however give Toronto the edge by a hair. Picks are great and young talent is sweet to have, but at the end of the day this is still a fantasy league and ramirez is a game changing talent! Good trade but plus 5 Toronto. This trade is a few years away from anyone knowing how good it really is or isn't

The Indians are doing a great job getting into this rebuild. He’s made some great trades and the future, the far far distant future, is bright. However, speaking as an owner who came into this league deep in a rebuild and has spent the last few years staring at my bright shiny prospects while other teams were winning, rebuilding takes longer than you think, prospects never move fast enough, and only half of the prospects you think are good really are good. For those reasons, I give the edge to the Bluejays. They get current players Who we know are good. In 2024 though, I’ll be looking out for the Indians.

It's hard to win a trade when you're trading a superstar talent.
I really like Vientos, his size and power are intriguing for a 3rd basemen. Stott will probably be 2 to 3 years away, nothing spectacular, but a solid SS prospect. The draft picks are a nice addition, but they still are lottery tickets, especially the later ones.
Jose Ramirez is a special player, probably one of my favorite players to watch in the league. Bundy is having a nice rebound season with LAA, so that is some solid value as well. I think Toronto did well here, didn't give up a special prospect in my eyes, solid, Vientos could, but he's upside right now. I would of tried to probe an Alacantara or a Biggio, but each their own.
Good trade boys!
