Cleveland sends Eddie Rosario OF MIN 5,500,000 2021-22T 2021 4th Amat 2020 4th MiLFA Atlanta sends Austin Riley 3B/OF ATL 600,000 2024 - Arbitration 2021 3rd Amat 2021 4th Amat 2020 4th MiLFA Reasoning: I am trading for the better player even if he is signed for 2 less year. Giving up a 3rd in next Amat seems like a fair price. I am also getting a better position in rd 4 in both drafts. This swap will happen only if Cleveland has a better draft pick in both rounds. Thanks for the trade Cleveland Indians (Cody) !

Accepted. Im still very high on Riley. A top 30 prospect last year that is just getting his feet wet. I believe(hoping really) he turns into a rosario type player with better OBP skills. Also will have him when I plan to be competitive and Rosario I wouldn't. I get a 3rd rounder also which is nice. The 2 pick swaps, eh, not too worried about. They are a couple mid round flier picks that Mihai needed to make this happen.
Good luck Mihai!

Cleveland Indians (Cody) @dinamo14 @alex I just saw this conditional pick swap - while I admire the creativity and will honor it this time around, I will be updating the Constitution to specify this is not legal in the future. I want to control any kind of creeping complexity in these trade arrangements. For example - what happens if one of these conditional picks is then subsequently traded? I assume that it will continue to be conditional upon this original agreement, but you can see how this gets out of control in a hurry if we allow this to be commonplace

I see your point though.
