Cleveland sends
German Marquez $1,425,600 2022 Jonathon Schoop $11,600,000 2021 (salary retained for 2020 only) Daniel Bard $2,000,000 2021 (salary retained for 2020 only)
Toronto sends
1st rnd MiLFA 2021 Amat picks 6,7,8,9, and 10 Mason Martin Parker Meadows
Well I get to add I believe my 9th first round pick between the Amat and Milfa drafts. Martin has intriguing power and has almost no competition for Pittsburghs 1st base job in the near future. Meadows I've liked since his draft. I love Marquez. Unfortunately he plays for the Rockies which severely hurts his value. He can win you a week, or lose you a week. If he ever leaves Colorado he will be a Cy Young contender. After shopping him around I found out I must really over value him at the moment lol. Schoop has generated no interest at all although he is having a great year and is always solid. Bard I just signed last week but is getting some saves.
Thanks Frank good luck. You probably won this trade getting Marquez. I miss him already lol.

Toronto Accepts. Bunch of reasons to do this.
1) What Cody said about Marquez. I believe in the talent, but he is cheap and fits my timeline with Trout. My rotation has been a mess, I am hoping for him to help stabilize it. Again, I really just wanted Marquez so everything else is just extra. 2) Schoop is hot and could help fill in my Util slot for this year or be traded away for asset (though based on what Cody said, not much interest in him). Either way, I have a lot of salary coming off the books next year. 3) Bard gives me potential saves, which I have little of, and is cheap. Definitely could be flipped if need be. 4) Further weakening a division rival is a cherry on top.
As for what I gave up:
1) I am giving up my first round MiLB pick this year, but I still have CIN's pick, which I am hoping is higher than mine. 2) I do not care about AMAT picks and now I believe Cleveland owns all of mine for 2021 lol. 3) Martin I may regret giving up, but with Vlad moving to 1B, and Bryce Ball the the minor league 1B I am holding instead, I could afford to trade him. 4) Meadows I like, but again, I have a lot of OF depth so might as well use it to upgrade the 40 man.
Thank you as well Cody! Appreciate your patience with me. Maybe for now, but we will see in a year or two!
