Another cross Chicago trade - Luke and I are raring to go for 2021!
I don't love giving up on Shed Long, but I think Ty France gets the first shot at 2B next season for the M's and don't see where Long will play when healthy. I have 3 DHs following 2020 position eligibility (Stanton, Davis, E5), and 2 (if not 3) of those contracts are underwater. Urbina is the big get for me here, while also clearing up some 2022 salary for what should be a big free agency year.

I like Urbina and the pair of Luis Garcia's haha. This is a pretty big trade; it gives the Cubs some flexibility going forward and acquires a nice pitching prospect. Urbina is just so far away, he has starter upside, but sooo much can go wrong, it's tough to put a value on a guy in the DSL. The pitching Garcia is very intriguing, the biggest get from this trade, probably a bullpen arm, but if he is, he can be a good one.
Shed Long, a MI with power potential. Those are pretty valuable in this league, and they can be hard to find. He might have K problems, but he walks at an average clip and if he can hit .250, he'll have a .320 OPB, with a .420 SLUG at 2B, that's a quality player at league min. Encarnacion's contract is rough, but maybe he can get back to that value this year, it's not out of the question.
Good trade bois
To me, taking a chance on Shed Long, Castelliani is worth trading a future bullpen arm and 4 flyers
