CHC sends Michael Kopech Mitch Keller
NYY sends Alex Bregman 2021 $14.9 MM Nolan Jones
While I hate to give up on Kopech like this, it's an offer I feel like I have to take in order to shore up my offense which was severely lacking in 2020. Been after Nolan Jones for a while now for his immense OBP and power combination, landing him could shore up my 3B/CI needs once I lose Bryant, Bregman, Rizzo next year. Keller might be the most variable part of this deal - great potential but seemingly no ability to avoid getting hit hard. Time will tell!

Yankees agree, I see kopech and keller as future ace material if kopech stays healthy and if Keller can improve his velocity and with him still new to his slider I see a lot of swing and miss potential. I did a ton of research and these were two of my 4 starters I wanted to land for my future. My staff should dominate for a long time. Bregman is a rental and cap money gone. Now Nolan Jones, I see a lot of swing and miss, I believe although he maybe highly touted he has fallen down the top 100 2 straight years. He couldn't make a call up even in the crazy ess of last season where everyone got called to the show. Thanks Curtis for the easy deal.

+15 Cubs
Bregman is a great pickup for this year and I love Jones potential. Cubs picked up these two for two, as I see it, very flawed pitching prospects. Keller has really struggled and Kopech has multiple health and possible mental health issues. This one could go either way, but I think the odds heavily favored the hitters here.
