Dodgers trade
OF Cristian Pache $600,000 20xx 2B Jonathan Schoop $11,600,000 2021
Tigers trade
1B Luke Voit $600,000 2021 SP Hyun-Jin Ryu $3,000,000 2021 2B Ezequiel Duran OF Khalil Lee
I like Pache, but I need immediate help right now with 80% of my good hitters on the IL. Hopefully Voit will be the help I need to survive for now. Ryu isn’t a big need for me, but he’s a great pitcher on a great contract, so when Matt offered him in the deal, I couldn’t turn him down. I’ve like Duran since I almost drafted him in the MilFA in 2019? I think. I waited one round to long, but now I finally got him here. Lee isn’t a guy I’ve tracked or know much about, but looks like a decent prospect, so overall, with the cash savings, this deal just made sense for me. Thanks Matt for sticking with me as I tried to tweak things all day long before finally coming back to your original deal, lol.

Accepted
How do you say goodbye 2 guys you saw something in that guys on MLB team payrolls saw either later than you, or not at all. I remember how shutdown I thought Ryu was gonna be if he could just get healthy when I claimed him from the Cubs. And I remember the interview Voit did back when he was with St. Louis that reminded me of JD Martinez just before he took off, that convicted me to sign him. But, contracts are up at the end of the year and they are 2 guys that I can allow to leave, while still maintaining a shot at the playoffs.
Pache looks like he could be top tier...so I'm willing to take that chance so I can shore up my long term outfield. Lee unfortunately never panned out like I had hoped and now he is on a worse team for him than when I acquired him. Like I told Jon.... It was definitely not easy to give up Duran, but he was the lesser of all evils he was interested in to me.
All in all, not a bad little deal for a sleepy Sunday.

+20 LAD. LAD Gets a good haul with a front of the rotation starter, a quality 1b, and 2 pretty intriguing prospects.
Detroit gets Pache, who to me looks like a glove first light hitting OF. His glove should keep him in the lineup which is nice but i have concerns about his bat. Although some see 20/20 potential there. I think that might be a stretch. Most are higher on him than me. I cant help but see another Albert Almora.
I'm probably wrong and Detroit lands a quality long term OF. If that happens I'd say this trade is pretty even

You processed it a little wrong. It's supposed to take effect next scoring period, I'll see if I can fix it.

Damn, my mistake. Did you get it right? Ya we are all good, should be all good for this week, I left the prospects alone, just the MLB players. No offence, I'll have Voit as my DH over Schoop every day I can And Ryu popped off against the Red Sox last night.....which I am taking the credit for as his swan song to me personally
