The Draft
The draft will consist of 10 rounds beginning Friday 8/6 at 0800 EST. Each team will have 6 hours to make a selection, with the clock stopping between 0200 and 0600 EST, effectively making the overnight pick a 10 hour clock rather than 6 hour. The pick clock may be sped up in later rounds as picks become less consequential in order to expedite the draft.
If a team fails to make a selection prior to the clock expiring, then the next team will be eligible to pick. A team that misses its pick in a round will be allowed to make the pick at any time until the end of the round or 48 hours following the clock expiring on the pick, whichever allows the longest amount of time, at which time the Commissioner will assign the next available player with the highest real-life draft pick. If no draft picks are left on the board, an undrafted free agent will assigned at random.
It is mandatory to email the next team up using the contact list (link) on the league spreadsheet in order to make sure no team gets their pick skipped. Please include confirmation that you have emailed the next team up in your post, e.g. "With the first pick LA Dodgers select Jack Leiter. Atlanta emailed and on the clock"
Eligible Players
Players to be drafted include all players drafted and signed in the 20 round MLB first year player draft

Franchise Fill
Following the draft teams will be able to add (without use of draft picks) any remaining players drafted by the real-life namesake organization but not drafted in the JBL AMAT draft. E.g. I could select whichever Cubs draftees were not selected in the 10 rounds of the JBL AMAT draft.
Minor League Roster Constraint
Minor league rosters will need to be compliant with the 80 player limit following the completion of the draft and franchise fill.
