I just received a response back from Curtis that we will not be able to change our lineups at all.

Well thats not what the rules state !!!
(4) The final two playoff weeks will be the World Series (ie. the statistics for the 2 week period are accumulated), matching the winners of each League against each other. Lineups for the World Series may be adjusted on the second Monday of the matchup by contacting a Commissioner and requesting the moves be made, which will lock for the second week of the matchup. These week 2 moves must be posted in the Major League Transactions board.
