Dodgers trade
Carson Williams, SS, TBR C Alex Jackson $600,000 2026 (LAD retains $600,000 through 2026)
Rangers Trade
P Spencer Howard $600,000 2026 2022 6th round AMAT pick
I’ve always like Howard and I believe he can work out his control issues and become a useful starter. I like to carry a few extra SP in case of injury and since I traded one earlier today, I was looking to add one more if I could make roster space (Jackson). I hate to lose Williams, but he’s years away and TB is slower than most to promote prospects even if he does work out. I could see this trade working out for both of us, years apart. Thanks for the quick and easy deal.

Rangers accept.
To be honest, I have no inkling what Howard will become, I usually have a decent grasp on pitchers, but not Howard. He could be a number two or he could be a guy out of the league that can't control anything even in the pen. He's a highly volatile asset as of right now, and I am willing to take a little less value from two years ago, but I am recouping a good prospect. I feel I can duplicate Howard going forward, I got him before he really took off, I'll be looking to do the same with another name soon.
Williams is a great athlete, of course this is fantasy baseball ,so it doesn't have that much value. I like his eye at the plate, and I believe in high school position players with great flexibility being able to develop power as they age. I think he will stay at SS in the long term. He will take time, but Williams is a solid floor prospect at SS.
Thanks, Jon.
