Cincinatti trades: SP Tom Eshelman RHP Hunter Greene RHP Hunter Gaddis 3B Shervyn Newton
Seattle trades: 2B/OF Jurickson Profar 2022 $13,550,000 Salary coverage for Profar ($13,550,000)
Profar is one of my favorite players, hard to let him go when I am the thick of it for my division. I have already dealt Nimmo, Albies and Yandy Diaz all up this year so losing getting something for Profar makes sense to me, I have been shopping him for a while. I think Greene has the potential to stick in the Reds rotation if he can manage his control, if not he could be a high leverage reliever. Thanks for the smooth negotiations

Profar is a good player to have with his flexibility has an OF and MI, and its even better having him for free. The players I gave up in return have a lot of potential upside, but I needed to clear room on my roster and this was a good way to do it while getting a good return. Thanks to Seattle for working with me

+50 Seattle. Hunter Greene alone for 1 year of Profar is too much for me. Seattle's return for 1 year of an average player is astounding.

+50 Seattle (even more) I totally agree with Cody. There are only 3 or 4 names in my organization I would give a second thought to before trading for Green. Let alone a average rental player. I was thinking of reaching out about green a month ago, but thought that reasonably the price that should be demanded would be a more of a lateral move in my case.

+50 Seattle
Agree with the statements about Greene, but in addition, Profar is only on a 2022 deal and Cincinnati is already out of the playoff race.

I agree with the sentiment that this is a very curious trade given CIN's current roster construction and place in the standings. I've messaged CIN and we will discuss.
