Reds Receive Pablo Lopez - $20,000,000 ; 2026-27P
Braves Receive Jose Miranda - $822,000 ; 2027 Edwin Arroyo - MiLB
First trade for me since jumping in at the end of the season, and one that really helps me fill a glaring roster need. I don't have any CI options that I feel comfortable with, and Miranda showed well in his first taste of big-league action and projects as a very good offensive player with a nice contract situation. I like Lopez, but my starting rotation is much deeper. And, not that the contract was bad by any means, but this gives me more flexibility to use the freed up cap space in other areas. Arroyo helps balance the gap between the known production of Lopez and the hopeful production of Miranda.
Easy working with Thomas, and a nice first deal to get under my belt!

Reds accept!
Pablo Lopez will be another huge addition to my pitching staff and I believe this deal will be another step towards making my team competitive for the upcoming season. Thanks and good luck to Andrew and the Braves!

Love this trade. Really even and love Lopez and his contract. Win-win

I think Lopez is just a slightly above average pitcher and on an expensive long term contract. I believe Miranda will outperform him over the next 5 years and if Arroyo works out, this trade could end up pretty lopsided.
