I don't understand how you can nominate a player knowing if you win that bid it puts you over your 40 man limit. Shouldn't it be that in order to place a bid you must actually have the 40 man spot already available? It takes 24/48 hours for DFAd players to process so you don't have e the roster spot to even make a bid. This makes no sense to me.

DFAs are immediately sent to the paid minors (while subject to claims for 48 hours) so this is legal
