I like picks and prospects, sometimes to my detriment, but as been said before you have to give to get. I need help in the OF, so Schwarber's bat is a great addition. The salary retention will allow me to fill more holes in FA, but at the cost of additional prospect/pick value. Clarke is developing well and looks like a solid, productive OF in the future. I fear Herz ends up in the bullpen with his high BB/9 rate and short outings as a starter in the minors, but he could be dominate in that roll. I don't like giving up Toman or the 1st round pick, but at least I can extract some value with the 3rd rounder coming back.
