Congrats TB. When are we gonna add a 13th category to eliminate the potential for ties. 3rd time I've been bounced in the playoffs due to a tiebreaker. Seems a little ridiculous at this point

My hesitation for a 13th category has always been that it would bias the value of either hitting or pitching, whichever had the extra category. Jon has a good point too, regular season performance has that extra edge especially since we don't have any first round byes

Also consider that a 13th category is not a foolproof tiebreaker anyway. Individual categories can and do end in a tie; the result could be a 6.5-6.5 matchup instead of 6-6.

The ATL/NYM games have been postponed due to hurricane and a makeup doubleheader officially scheduled for Monday September 30th. In the spirit of the existing schedule spanning all 162 regular season games I will be including these game results in the World Series scoring period. You may notice Fantrax schedule changes to allow for this. Fantrax has a banner message on all pages indicating that a solution to include these results is not yet rolled out but due soon. More to come.

Congratulations to our 2024 champs the Tampa Bay Rays! Looking at the franchise's recent history this is a long overdue success after several consecutive years of deep playoff runs. The World Series came down to the wire and was decided over slugging percentage, my Cubs' bat's decided to take Sunday off and Mark came out ahead with a huge performance from Eugenio Suarez!

Thank you, Curtis! You put together an awesome squad this year, clearly the strongest team all season. But that's why we play H2H, there's always a chance. Side note, I put Suarez on waivers back in June, and I would have released his 0.576 OPS and $32M salary if anyone had claimed him. Gotta say, it feels good to win a league this deep with so many excellent managers competing hard all season. Thanks everyone!
