Detroit recieves: Ronald Guzman, Aaron Altheer, Huston Street Texas recieves: Victor Martinez, 9th round pick in the initial MiLB draft.
The reason Texas took this trade: I traded Adrian Gonzalez( my only 1st basemen ready) and I needed another one to bridge the gap. Bauers, I expect to be up at the end of the year and be ready by 2018. Victor Martinez will bridge the gap this year and provide some big upside. My other trade for a 1st basemen fell through("fell") and I got the best out of the two, and gave up a little more for a better player on a 1 year deal. Detroit will get a young 1st basemen who will be ready by mid year 2018 and has some good power. Altheer is a really good 4th outfielder and Huston Street could be the closer in LA if healthy.

0 but I do like it just slightly for Detroit. I think Guzman can be a pretty decent mlb hitter if given a chance. Plus he has limited roadblocks to playing time.

2 Detroit. Like this a lot for the Tigers, get something out of an aging vmart.
