SS Ryan Goins $600,000 2020-21T
Would Trade in The Right Deal
Justin Upton $20,000,000 2021 (But a Franchise player under control would be demanded in return in any deal) ON HOLD TILL OFF SEASON
OF Steven Souza Jr. $7,000,000 2021-22P (would only consider trading for a player with almost identical production + age + contract who plays in the infield OR a pretty sweet prospect or 2) ON HOLD TILL OFFSEASON
1B Miguel Cabrera $26,200,000 2019
2B Ian Kinsler $13,500,000 2019 ON HOLD TILL OFF SEASON
CI/MI Asdrubal Cabrera $10,200,000 2019-20P ON HOLD TILL OFF SEASON
(Note: If your expecting me to retain salary for any of these players, I probably will not retain past 2019 and be prepared to compensate for that)
Looking For:
Infielders with Upside
Prospects and Picks as usual.
If you come looking for my prospects, I'm rebuilding, so I would only deal prospects in exchange for pieces I would consider part of my future.
I'll listen to everything, but the ball rolls easier if you start with an offer.
A Little Note About How I View Deals:
1. My definition of a rental player is someone who's contract expires at the end of the current season (unless there is a Team option).
2.when looking to deal a rental player, I sooner allow the contract to expire on my roster than sell a player for less than what I think he is worth (given contribution while taking into account playing time remaining).
3. I view retaining salary as very valuable, I mean come on, you can only do 20M a year and its Cap Space that has no production. And let me say if you want me to retain salary on a player who is not being greatly overpaid for multiple years.......we better be in conversations that see me getting a premier top 20 prospects.
4. I really appreciate it when, instead of just asking if a guy is available or what I want for a certain player, you attach some sort of offer or give some insight into what you are willing to give up. That way I know how serious you are and have some sort of remote clue as to what you are willing to give up.
5. Currently, I am not officially trying to compete......so I'm not interested in your RP unless they are under control for a while and I see potential in them going forward
