Cincinnati sends:
P Wei-Yin Chen $5,600,000 (2019) P Trevor Williams $600,000 (2022)
Toronto sends: OF Seth Smith $1,800,000 (2019-20T)
Basically this is a cost cutting measure to get me under the cap that also allows me to keep my team intact from last year while adding some flexibility.
Williams showed some signs of life at the end of last year and Chen has some injury bounce back upside, but he also had some last year when I signed him. Ultimately with my pitching acquisitions at the deadline I feel comfortable moving both of them.
Thanks to Toronto for the easy negotiations.

Toronto agrees to this deal. Cincinnati started the talks with an inquiry on Smith and from there it was easy as our needs aligned.
Cincinnati is now under the salary cap with this trade and bolsters more OF depth.
I take on a little more salary with Chen (I have so much cap space though) and can gamble on a health bounce back to meet the GS requirement. In addition, I get a young, cost controlled SP.

Processed. Good even deal that I can see helping both teams
